I agree with Aiden that the review helps to explain the experience and immerses you in the food through words. The reviewer also makes sure to include specific information about the restaurant including how much the tasting menu costs and the different steps the staff go through to make sure you are ready for the experience.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both Aiden and Jamie, the vocabulary in this article really enhanced it. In addition, the article provided the necessary information needed for the restaurant. This is a very good review. This review isn't just a food review but a great overall review of the restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI also think that this review is very effective in several ways. First of all, I think the writing is very natural and humorous, the kind that draws you in through interactions and makes you feel very comfortable along the way. Secondly, the writer describes what he sees very vividly, which helps readers experience the restaurant without necessarily being there. Furthermore, he explains himself very well with a lot of details. Thus the uniquenesses of the Eleven Madison restaurant-- interactions between staff and costumers, the emphasis of the region's cultures and actually educate costumers about them etc-- are captured and delivered effectively.
